C.L. State Approval List and Guidelines

C.L. Goat Vaccine

Conditionally labeled as Corynebacterium Pseudotuberculosis Bacterin. This first-to-market conditionally licensed product provides veterinarians and producers an important tool to help protect the Caprine/goat population from Corynebacterium Pseudotuberculosis, a bacterial disease that is the cause of Caseous Lymphadenitis (C.L.) in goats. Without a commercially available vaccine as a practical management tool, goat producers have had few options to prevent the spread of this disease.

This product has a conditional license that will be regulated by each state’s veterinary agency. Distribution in each state shall be limited to authorized recipients designated by proper state officials—under such additional conditions as these authorities may require.
